SYNDICATE PROTOCOL (7).png

A new mini-game is live inside Syndicate Protocol.

Somewhere in Syndicate City, a courier is moving a package along a wire.

You don't know which node they'll surface at. You get one guess, one stake, and one shot per wager tier per day. Guess right and the payout is yours — sometimes in Tokens, sometimes in SYNX paid straight to your Hive wallet.

That's Dead Drop, and live now.

Pick the wire. Stake your Tokens. Intercept the courier before the signal dies.

How it works

  1. Pick your node. The wire map shows eight districts of Syndicate City, from Iron Row up to the Apex Enclave. You can only tap nodes in zones you've unlocked.
  2. Choose your wager tier. Street, Crew, Boss, or Kingpin. Higher stake, higher intercept chance, better prize table.
  3. Hit Intercept. Two rolls resolve. First: does the courier surface on your node? If it does, a second roll decides which reward you pull.

Your Tokens are debited whether you win or lose. That's the wager.

The wire map

Eight nodes, wired together. The courier doesn't teleport — it moves along the network's actual edges, so routes have shape to them. Heat rises as you climb:

Street50 Tokens14%2 SYNX
Crew200 Tokens18%25 SYNX
Boss500 Tokens22%75 SYNX
Kingpin1,500 Tokens26%500 SYNX

One intercept per tier per UTC day. Four runs a day, maximum — one Street, one Crew, one Boss, one Kingpin. Everything resets at 00:00 UTC.

That cap is deliberate. Dead Drop is a daily ritual, not a machine you feed until your balance is gone.

Straight talk on the odds

I'd rather you hear this from me than work it out yourself and feel misled.

Every tier loses Tokens on average. Here's the real expected value per attempt:

TierStakeChance of any SYNX
Street500.14% (1 in 739)
Crew2000.33% (1 in 308)
Boss5000.88% (1 in 113)
Kingpin1,5003.37% (1 in 30)

So what are you actually buying? SYNX exposure. You're converting an in-game currency you farm from jobs and territories into a shot at a token that exists on-chain.

Full prize tables, per attempt:

Street — 50 Tokens, 14% intercept

RewardAmountChance per attempt
Token Skim120 Tokens11.8%
Token Bundle400 Tokens2.0%
SYNX Trace2 SYNX0.135%

Crew — 200 Tokens, 18% intercept

RewardAmountChance per attempt
Token Skim450 Tokens14.4%
Token Bundle1,500 Tokens3.2%
SYNX Trace8 SYNX0.27%
SYNX Pouch25 SYNX0.054%

Boss — 500 Tokens, 22% intercept

RewardAmountChance per attempt
Token Bundle1,200 Tokens16.5%
Token Vault4,000 Tokens4.6%
SYNX Pouch20 SYNX0.74%
SYNX Lockbox75 SYNX0.15%

Kingpin — 1,500 Tokens, 26% intercept

RewardAmountChance per attempt
Token Vault3,500 Tokens22.6%
SYNX Lockbox60 SYNX2.7%
SYNX Briefcase200 SYNX0.57%
SYNX Jackpot500 SYNX0.09% (1 in 1,105)

Running all four tiers every day costs 2,250 Tokens.

Who can play

You need at least one zone unlocked beyond Iron Row. Iron Row is the free starter zone, so this means you've made at least one real move in Syndicate City.

If you're brand new: play the main game first, unlock a zone, then come back. Dead Drop is a side bet on an economy you're already part of — it isn't the entry point.

Where to find it

Log in at syndicate-protocol.com and look for the Dead Drop tab at the bottom of the screen. Hover it on desktop or tap it on mobile and it expands — it'll tell you how many intercepts you have left today.

Credits

Dead Drop was built by herman-german@herman-german — a fellow community member who took it from an idea to a finished, playable game.

The wire map and its routing, the four wager tiers, the prize tables, the whole noir surveillance look of it: that's their design and their code. Syndicate Protocol handles the economy underneath — debiting Tokens, settling runs, broadcasting the SYNX — but the game itself is theirs.

This is the good version of a game community: someone plays your game, decides it needs a wire-tap gamble, and then goes and builds one worth shipping.

One last thing

Four taps a day. Every tier is Token-negative. The SYNX is the prize, and most days you won't get any.

Stake Tokens you're comfortable losing — the daily cap is there to make that easy, and there's no way to buy more attempts. Play it as the sixty seconds of nerve it's designed to be, not as an income strategy.

The wire's live. Pick a node.
