Lo veo como una forma de anularte como persona para ganar likes.
Prefiero la idea de ser yo y estar sola, que fingir ser alguien más para estar en compañía, pero también entiendo que cada quien tiene intereses distintos.
Sin embargo esta es la menor de las dimensiones de este tema.

Sometimes I see the world as a circus, where everyone is playing a role and trying hard to “show off” in front of others.
Today I saw a video in which a young woman said that when it comes to creating content, it doesn’t matter what you want to post, but rather what your audience wants to hear from you.
I see it as a way of losing your sense of self just to get likes.
I'd rather be myself and be alone than pretend to be someone else just to have company, but I also understand that everyone has different interests.
However, this is only the smallest aspect of this issue.
Basta con ver cómo muchos quieren ganar protagonismo cuando se trata de alguna desgracia, situación política o cualquier cosa que pueda traducirse en visibilidad.
¿Cuántos estarían apoyando una causa, si esto no les generara ningún beneficio? ¿Si fuese algo anónimo que nadie supiera y no tuviera retribución alguna?
Estoy segura que muchísimas personas lo harían, gente noble de corazón, que por fortuna existe en este mundo. Pero también presiento que no serían esos que vemos en redes sociales mostrando cada "buena obra" que hacen.
Percibo que hay casos en los que simplemente el argumento para "apoyar" es: Tenemos que aparecer, no nos podemos quedar atrás.

How many would support a cause if it didn’t benefit them in any way? If it were something anonymous that no one knew about and offered no reward whatsoever?
I’m sure many people would do it—people with noble hearts, who, fortunately, do exist in this world. But I also suspect they wouldn’t be the ones we see on social media showing off every “good deed” they do.
I sense that there are cases where the argument for "supporting" it is simply: We have to be seen; we can't fall behind.
Creo que es parte de hacer lo correcto no esforzarnos de que el mundo se entere del pan que dimos. Sin embargo, esto es sólo mi forma de pensar, nadie tiene la verdad absoluta, sólo una visión parcial del panorama.
En el día a día, cada pequeña acción que genera bienestar, ya sea a otros o a nosotros mismos, es causa de satisfacción.
Por ejemplo, admiro a unos colegas, que se han tomado la tarea de alimentar a unos perros callejeros que viven en los alrededores de la oficina, y cuando uno de estos estuvo a punto de morir por infección, se encargaron de limpiarlo, de curarlo, de darle antibióticos y así salvaron su vida.
Y lo hicieron en silencio, yo sólo los observaba.
Pienso que quienes rescatan animales, tienen muy buen corazón y existen muchos de ellos.
También tengo una amiga que todos los meses prepara suficiente comida y la reparte a las personas en situación de calle. Y tampoco se beneficia de esto.
Y así, en el mundo existen muchos héroes anónimos, con hermosas almas al servicio de los demás; algo tan natural para ellos, que no les parece algo extraordinario que deban publicar.
I believe that part of doing the right thing is not going out of our way to make sure the world knows about the bread we gave away. However, this is just my way of thinking; no one has the absolute truth, only a partial view of the bigger picture.
In our day-to-day lives, every small action that brings well-being—whether to others or to ourselves—is a source of satisfaction.
For example, I admire some colleagues who have taken it upon themselves to feed the stray dogs that live around the office, and when one of them was on the verge of dying from an infection, they took it upon themselves to clean him up, treat him, give him antibiotics, and thus saved his life.
And they did it quietly; I just watched them.
I think that people who rescue animals have very kind hearts, and there are many of them.
I also have a friend who prepares enough food every month and distributes it to people experiencing homelessness. And she doesn’t benefit from this either.
And so, there are many unsung heroes in the world, with beautiful souls dedicated to serving others; it comes so naturally to them that they don’t see it as something extraordinary worth publicizing.
