I used this pattern here - However the overall length is shorter and for the last couple rows of the hat I did crochet some stitches together to give it a bit of a rounder shape.

It's made out of baby yarn. I'd say crochet thread would get you a closer look to the original.

Actually no, I made Sachertorte (a chocolate cake invented by Austrian Franz Sacher for Prince Wenzel von Metternich) as birthday cake today. Those were chocolate cookies from our wedding anniversary :)
