¡Hola, querida comunidad y bellas flores!🤍

Bueno, bienvenida a mi semana.

Hello, dear community—my beautiful blossoms!
🤍

It’s so lovely to connect with you all here again. Grab a comfortable seat, pour yourself a cup of your favorite coffee or tea, and join me for this latest entry in my journal.

To be completely honest, this week has been a real test of endurance and patience. You know those moments when it feels like the entire universe has decided to challenge your emotional balance all at once? Well, that’s exactly what my week has been like.

For starters, my computer broke down right in the middle of my work and study routine. To make matters worse, I had to prepare for and deliver my first-ever presentation in English—a massive challenge, considering I’ve only been studying the language at the academy for a few months! My nerves were absolutely frayed. And, as if Murphy’s Law weren’t enough, the charging port on my phone broke again—yes, the very same one I had just sent in for repairs not long ago!

But as a true Scorpio—and yes, I’m celebrating that Scorpio season begins today; it’s my month! ♏✨—I understand that these turbulent times are simply part of the transformative chaos in the cosmos. Lately, I’ve noticed how my content has been evolving and shifting. For quite some time, I’ve been seeking personal growth and consciously realigning myself with my goals. Part of this transformation has involved diving into learning English without fear, joining an evening running group, connecting with new peers in that running club, and taking better care of myself through the "Glow Up" challenge with Lussty Peru.

Amidst this whirlwind of unexpected events, returning to my virtual book club—where we’re reading Unlimited Power (1986) by Tony Robbins (Anthony J. Robbins)—has served as the perfect anchor to help me reconnect with my center. Today, I want to break down the lessons I took away from chapters 11, 12, and 13, explaining what each one represents and how it has resonated in my own life.

🧠Chapter 11: To Break Free from Limitations, What Is It That You Desire?

This chapter explains how the preconceived notions we accept as absolute truths dictate the limits of our potential. Robbins reminds us that limiting beliefs are merely interpretations of the past that condition our present. Breaking free from them requires questioning their validity and replacing them with empowering certainties. The author notes that the first step toward dismantling these barriers is knowing exactly where we are headed, as the brain requires clear objectives to activate the resources needed for success.

When both my computer and phone broke down this week, my initial thought was, "I won't be able to handle all of this." However, grasping the concepts in this chapter helped me realize that this was a mental limitation; shifting that belief allowed me to focus on finding solutions and confidently delivering my presentation in English.

The author suggests tools for defining one’s path, such as creating a "dream inventory" (an uncensored list of desires), evaluating timelines, and maintaining a journal of annual goals to stay on a strategic course. Ultimately, breaking free from limitations is not just about removing what holds us back; it is about providing our minds with a vision powerful enough to compel us to grow.

📚Chapter 12: The Power of Precision

This chapter highlights the need to define exactly what we want to achieve, rather than harboring vague or fuzzy desires. Robbins argues that the brain requires concrete commands and detailed imagery to mobilize its resources toward a tangible goal. When we provide our minds with vague directives, we end up with vague results.

One of the key insights in these pages concerns the impact of our focus. Asking ourselves, "Why is this happening to me?" fosters feelings of victimization and paralysis. Conversely, shifting the question to "What can I learn from this?" or "How can I resolve this?" immediately activates our internal resources and creative problem-solving abilities.

This chapter resonated deeply with my own process of redirection: it is not enough to simply say, "I want to improve my life" or "I want to become bilingual." You must attach a timeline and specific actions to these goals—whether that means going for a run, enrolling in a language school, or taking precise, daily steps. Clarity is power, and success is built upon exact specifications.

🌈Chapter 13: The Magic of Rapport

This is one of the author’s most well-known chapters, as it explains the meaning of "rapport"—the attunement, connection, or deep empathy that develops between two or more people. Tony Robbins teaches us that this is, in a magical sense, the human capacity to build trust and deep alignment with those around us through active listening, emotional validation, and the mirroring of physiology. It is not about manipulation, but rather about connecting genuinely, rooted in absolute respect and authenticity.

Delving into Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), we come to understand that rapport is like an invisible dance within communication. When we subtly align our rhythm, body language, or tone of voice with another person, defensive mechanisms diminish, allowing ideas to flow without distortion. This concept reveals that human beings are not isolated islands; we are hardwired to seek out similarities and build bridges of mutual understanding.

This was beautifully illustrated this week as I reconnected with colleagues in my running group. Establishing that rapport—and becoming part of a "tribe" that runs through the city—reminded me that the path of personal growth is not traveled in solitude, but rather in the company of people who elevate your energy. Ultimately, success and true human evolution stem from connection, confirming that the magic happens when we choose to inhabit shared spaces and connect with the souls of others.

Stumbling, hitting pause due to unexpected technical hitches, and reinventing yourself along the way—all of this is part of a true "glow up." Scorpio invites us to be reborn, and these chapters by Robbins reinforce for me that our mindset, clear goals, and human connections are our most powerful tools. I’d love to hear from you in the comments:
