South Africa was once again in the news for violence. After Kizer Chiefs, a huge soccer team, lost against Freestate Stars, an average team, the supporters went insane.
They trashed a world class stadium and attacked a female security guard. The men blindly joined each other and beat this poor woman. She was just doing her job.
I really hope that these men will be identified and charged. Violence is unacceptable. The African culture is so ego driven. Men for some reason only feel good about themselves after they dominate the females around them.
This culture needs to change. The new generation of parents need to raise their sons to see women as equals and not inferior sex who need to know their place.
