Hello guys….
How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and always happy. It’s great to see you all again. I’m back with stories to share about the various activities I’ve been up to.
I bought some equipment for making matcha. It seems I’ve started getting interested in making it, so I purchased a fairly complete set of tools. Actually, I decided to buy them after seeing social media content featuring people making matcha with beautiful and appealing gear.
Naturally, I bought them online; I placed three separate orders because the items I wanted were available at different shops. The first thing I purchased was a four-piece matcha set consisting of a chasen (bamboo matcha whisk), a small bamboo scoop, a ceramic whisk holder, and a ceramic bowl.
I bought it when there was a really good discount, so the price was quite low. Even so, the quality of this matcha set is excellent, and it was packaged very neatly and securely. It came in a box lined with thick foam, ensuring it was well-protected during transit to my home.
There are actually several color options for the matcha bowl and stand, but this one is the most appealing; the combination of white and pink is truly beautiful and adorable.
I also bought a small sieve to sift the matcha powder; it’s made of stainless steel. I intentionally bought it separately from the matcha set because there was a significant price difference—haha—so it worked out cheaper to purchase it this way.
The strainer I bought is 8 cm in size—so it’s not very wide—but it works well enough if you want to use it to strain loose-leaf tea.
After buying the equipment to make matcha, I naturally bought matcha powder as well. This time, I purchased a 30g tin of premium-grade matcha from Matcha Lab. It comes with a small tin for storage—very practical and cute.
I’ve never tried matcha from Matcha Lab, so this will be my first time trying it as well. I can't wait to give it a try.
Okay, that's my activity this time. Thank you for reading my story, see you in my next story~
