Una rutina de jalón nivel básico-intermedio
A basic-intermediate level pulling routine
I want to share a beginner and intermediate level pulling routine with you, specifically focused on working your back. This routine will not only help us gain strength, but also accumulate repetitions to transfer that foundation to future static calisthenics exercises. Without further ado, let's get started!
Once warmed up, I began to approach basic exercises such as hanging scapular retractions or Australian pull-ups, doing 8 to 10 repetitions for two sets. You can also do three to five pull-ups to prepare before the first exercise of the routine.
We started with the first exercise: weighted pull-ups. In my case, I used a rubber band as weight and performed 5 to 7 repetitions for three sets. You should always prioritize control and achieve the full range of motion with each repetition.
The second exercise in the routine was muscle-ups, a movement that combines pulling and pushing. I did 4 to 6 repetitions for three sets, always focusing on maintaining the best possible technique.
The third exercise was the pull-up row, also known as the inverted row. I performed 8 to 10 repetitions for four sets. If you find this difficult, you can do 3 to 5 repetitions, always trying to touch the bar with your abs. This exercise not only works the back but also the lats, which will help you achieve the front lever in the future.
The fourth and final exercise was the Australian pull-up, ideal for working the entire back. I did more than 15 reps for three sets to increase the volume of the pull-ups.
