In my little garden I have been visited by many Geckos
but this one just made me smile. He's just a little baby
compared to the others that show up regularly.
Unlike many other living creatures they fend for themselves
right after they come out of the tiny white eggs that their
Moms leave behind. The tiny eggs are usually hidden in a
warm safe place til it hatches then out comes a tiny Gecko
who is almost see through and barely any green color yet.
In the sunlight the baby gecko is almost an opal colored creature
then as he gets older the green and red spots will show up and
he will look exactly like his Mom and Dad. I have quite a few geckos
that show up and they all have the same pattern on their backs
the only difference is the Boys have a fatter tail than the slim girl geckos do.
BTW their true name is Gold Dust Day Gecko or Hawaiian name Mo'o
(Mo'o - pronounced moe oh)
