I visited this lookout this fall when everything was foggy and unclear ...

"The real fairy tale of Homolje is represented by rich forest landscapes. In the lower parts there are oak forests, while the combination of oak and beech forests forms the central part of the Homolja mountain. They are rich in forest fruits, aromatic and medicinal herbs, while the highest peaks of these mountainous areas are covered with pastures and meadows where there are many medicinal plants of this region."
" In the area of Homolja mountain there are the most famous rainforests, which are very interesting to see. Vinatovača is the largest rainforest in this part, which is specific for its large letters, which are about 350 years old."
" Also, one of the most famous forests in this area is certainly the forest of Trest, which resembles the jungle. It is characterized by darkness and high humidity. Therefore, it is a suitable habitat for many species of edible fungi (mines, porcini, sunflower). The small rainforest of Falješana is a strict nature reserve. It is a natural habitat of blackberries. Wild boar, copper fox, deer, roe deer, wolf, squirrel, feathered and small game in the Homolje Mountains have their natural habitat. Herds of sheep and cows live on the pastures that are spread throughout these mountainous areas. Thanks to the clear waters, the riverbeds are rich in trout."
