I wanted to visit the Kastel in Vlajkovac, which is slowly closing down.
No one showed up and took it upon himself to restore it.... Every time I come, one part has collapsed..
It's slowly disappearing... I went in to take a look, although it's risky, maybe something will fall...
As soon as I stepped inside and looked up, I saw the sky... Part of the roof collapsed 🥺
Wrought iron fence resists the test of time...
I didn't stay inside long.... I went out to see the whole Kaštel....
The most beautiful part of the castle is this side, and it is the courtyard side...
Despite this dilapidation, it withstands the burden of time with dignity and still has traces of beauty...
I continued to the park that is part of this castle... and there is also a lake that is not maintained, but I still like to have a little...
Green Paradise.... The path curves and connects the other end of the village.... And passes by the lake..
There are two small bridges on the lake, this one is bigger and when you cross it, you reach the restaurant "Lake" ... This is where celebrations are organized and guests like to take pictures on this small bridge..
It has rained a lot in the last weeks and now everything is green again....
Although the clouds are there, the green seems to shine.
I return home happy, I visited the beauty that defies time... And it's still here...
As I approach through the canopy, you can see the tower..
Through the branches like this, he reminded me of a part of Disney's castle...
I never paid attention when I was coming through the park to the first visible tower, I was in a hurry to see the building as soon as possible...
I ended my visit to the village of Vlajkovac with a walk to the DTD canal.
