This most current season of Splinterlands has been so rough and I am not making much return, I am starting to wonder if any of this is even worth it.
Every day I wakeup and try and climb some rank just to fall further down the ladder and I have quite a few unique cards. It feels like I am being matched with bots or something. Whatever I Splinter I choose It picks the exact Splinter to counter about 9 out of 10 times. I find this hard to believe this is just regular people being this accurate considering there is a level of randomness to matching opponents.
Worse of all is the rewards. Credit, potion, potion, credit. It's demoralizing and utterly ridiculous. I remember the days when you can earn 5+ DEC on a battle in bronze 2 league. Now you can't win anything. And just to be in bronze league 3 is so difficult to stay and complete daily quests.
I've been playing since April and am really sad I haven't even made it to silver once. It probably wouldn't even matter since you get knocked back down at the end of the season. I don't see this enticing any new players. Older players reaping benefits I suppose but newer players are just getting dumped on. Sounds like a 1 sided unfair game to me.
