Until sometime two years ago, I never thought that i would want to own a pet. That year, I had visited my cousin at his residence. Just as soon as I opened the front door, I saw these creatures -two of them- charging at me. I froze.
Prior to my visiting, no one had told me that there were pets living in. Maybe my cousin had not thought about that. If I had the slightest knowledge about it, I'd have related to him my reservations.
I did not grow up in an environment where people owned pets. Rarely did you find anyone who did and it was maybe one or two persons. Buy none that I was in so close proximity with enough to form a bond or understand how they live and act.
So it wasn't unusual that I houses some fear for them. Maybe not fear but I did not want any in my space as their actions sometimes put me off and can be dangerous.
My cousin came to my aid that day by making sure they stayed away from me. But that was to be how I develop a soft spot for them.
Dogs. The pets I'd like to own. They're like humans in a number of ways. Sensitive, caring and protective. Being in one space, and with how long I stayed, there was no way I could avoid them. Atleast, I learned that with how hyper and jumpy they were whenever they saw me, it wasn't because they saw me as a threat and we're making to attack me. They were just excited and wanted to play.
We soon grew some fondness. And I learned how to take care of them and sense their moods and know what to do with the varying moods. It wasn't so bad after all.
They're quite expensive to maintain, nevertheless, I want one and would get one soon. Before then, I wanted to own a parrot cause my aunt owned one and I found it cute but right now, I don't think I can deal with all of their talkativeness. Lol.
And that's it for the pet I wish to own
You might want to check it out here. Let me know what pet you own or wish to own.
