Things are happening and people are funny
Just randomly remembered how one time I got into this "along" cab with my cousin. We were going to a relative's place.

Halfway into the journey, the man beside me started talking to the driver in hushed voice. Next thing, the driver exclaimed "dollars ke? You want to put me in trouble? I can't help you please "

The Man looked really troubled and started mumbling some french words.
"Ces pas, c'est pas dollars, sil vous plait?".
The woman sitted in front turned back and said "if we can help you, you'll give us our own cut o". Then my cousin turned to the man and said, "Tu parles francais?" (Do you speak French?)

"Yeah, yeah, oui, dollar," he replied.
The driver peered at us from the rear view mirror.
"Estce que he peux t'aides?" My cousin asked again(can I help you?)
"Ehn?" The 'distressed' man looked at him shocked before saying "Money, c'est dollar, c'est boot."
The Man on the other side of the window was mute.

At that time, taxis carried four people in the rear seat

"Tu habites oụ̀? Oụ̀ est-ce que tu vas? (Where do you live? Where are you going?)

The car came to a halt when the traffic light turned red.

The Man who is supposed to be French went mute. That was when the driver turned back to say "he told me he came into the country from Ivory coast with dollars he took from his white boss. And he wants to set up a business here. He's scared and doesn't want to meet 419 people.
LMAO! The irony!

Me I was wondering how the driver understood him. I was certain the driver knew no French.

My cousin continued, "pourquoi tu me Des rien?"(why do you say nothing?)
Distressed, the French man looked at him, obviously frustrated from all of the French he was speaking which he could not make out.

Let me mention here now that my cousin attended French classes for a while hence his fluency at it

Then the French man said, "help, c'est dollar, me give you"

My cousin and I exchanged knowing glances. It took all of the self control I had for me to not burst into laughter.
Thankfully, we were close to our stop point. We asked the driver to stop. He parked.
Immediately I opened the door, I could not hold back the laughter that escaped my mouth. Guy!
My cousin turned to the man and said "if you go dupe me, at least learn small french na."

He jumped out And before we looked at them, the 'French' man brought out his palm "Waka" style and shouted "idiot! Thunder faya you!' before they zoomed off.

E pain them.
Imagine the nonsense scam style. They've not seen nothing yet.
