My weekends should be for test. You know, after a long working week. But then, you notice the 'should' there, right?
My outfit for a friend's wedding party
Well, long before now, before I had to fend for myself, I had just about enough time to do all and every.
Right now, as a result of events springing up which I never had to bother about then, quality relaxation has reduced by a larger frame.
But even as I seek to rest, I surely must make out time for some fun. I need it and besides too, you know the saying about "all work and no play..." don't you??
And dressing up is a part of my life. It's important that I always am looking gorgeous. My mum says I should have been born a female because of my supposed obsession with fashion/style. I'm big on the drip and can never be caught unfresh. Haha.
My current job, thankfully, gives me freewill to freestyle on my appearance as I want. That is contradiction to the regular, typical dress codes in most corporate workplaces in my country.
Here, it's more of the corporate shirts, tie and pant from Monday through Thursday and then, native/Ankara attire on Friday. It doesn't even end there as there are also other rules guiding it.
Out to watch a football game
My weekend begins on Friday but I mostly just want to see a movie and sleep in all evening.
Saturday and Sunday are when I get to do some proper outing. And interestingly, there's always an Owanbe (wedding and parties) happening. It's always colorful. Nigerians know how to bring their A-game when it comes to fashion. And I do too. I never disappoint.
Importantly, the occasion determines what I'd be wearing. I can't wear a corporate outfit to the beach. It's inappropriate. I'm currently learning to wear shorts for Hangouts and to clubs.
Boy, I love to dress up! For parties like weddings, I love to wear the native attire. For Hangouts, I could wear the native attire or a nice two piece. I can also go with a jean on a nice vintage shirt and good shoes to elevate the look. But the native attire can be said to be my best. I like how stylish and always fitting it is. Very classy, comfortable and almost suitable for every occasion it is.
Native outfit, again. For Hangouts with friends
I'm the fashionista of the house and that should tell how I good I am. From picking, mixing and matching outfits to selecting the accessory and shoe that goes, I never flop.
Believe me!
The pictures I'd be attaching should be a little testament. They're all mine, too.
Thanks for stopping by.
