Toys, even if for some they go unnoticed, become obsolete, forgotten or simply become someone else's as the years go by, they also carry emotions and feelings in their core, also catapulting us to other times a bit distant and past. For these reasons I wanted to bring this publication inspired by the theme of the week. My name is Javier and it is a pleasure for me to participate in this great initiative.
From my experience these especially transport me and remind me that in a small gesture, or in a piece of iron, plastic or other material can accumulate nostalgia and importance, either because it was the gift of a family member or someone very dear or simply because these accompanied unforgettable moments when you played with a brother, friend or cousin who now lives far away from you.
These three little ones, two cars and an airplane, represent my love for engines, cars and wheels. Having them with me still, as if they were ornaments, always reminds me of my most innocent childhood, and how my creativity flew when playing with them when building tracks, cities for my little cars to drive on.
Having these still around today after more than 15 years is a reminder of how I have grown and aged, but they are also a reminder of how my inner child still enjoys them and is grateful for every moment they coexisted in one of the happiest moments.
I hope this post has been to your liking. Greetings and thank you very much.
