Manipulation,
Being forced into a direction, by misleading the person to make a decision. Creating triggers for another, so one might feel bad about it.
Or pushing a person into saying or showing something the person would not do in the first place.
The act of manipulation by using the human psyche, is a tool used by ego to get something.
Love is the opposite of it, it guides and does not steer. It listens and gives. It does not want anything. It gives away what is needed for the person to be happy.
