What could be better than the gift of life, health and the opportunity to be counting down the year, 2036, among the millions of people around the world 🌍.

When I see questions like this topic from #hiveleaners prompts - “Last Days Of 2026”, the first thing my mind will always go to is being grateful 😇 for the chance and opportunity of being alive and wellness itself. These are the two most important things in human existence that we all underrate.

We have entered the last quarter of 2026, and this the month if October already running. And honestly, I will usually be asking myself what happened with the year. How come the year 2026, flew as if there were drive forces moving the days , the months and now October. Especially when I look back at the things I expected to have achieved before this time. But who told me that things must happen the way I planed and expected them?

The unforeseen circumstances of life is one huge invisible thing man has not been able to resolve. I mean the powder to see what will happen in the future called the unforeseen despite all the problems man has continued to devise on how to solve . And this then will continue to make us reflect and channel our thinking 🤔 to the creator of the universe.

To be honest and stay truthful while writing ✍️ this prompt, I can tell you that the year 2026 has not been to me as planed and expected , especially in the area of my work because it appears that the inflation has been dragging some businesses down. Yes, it appears that majority of people are focusing on essential commodities which are foods, school fees for their wards, house rents and family responsibilities.

As a Realtor, this year 2026 has not been a good one in my job areas, especially due to how the house owners called the landlords and landladies keep increasing rent by over 300% increment, which certainly has slowed down the rate by which people move from old apartments to new one. I mean in the good old days when my country Nigeria 🇳🇬 was doing good, people will move to newer apartments once there are growth on their businesses. Some will also build their own houses 🏠 and move during the year into them, thereby creating the chance and opportunities for letting and people renting. But the economy has not enabled this and people can’t even move out from their old apartments despite the constant increment because they are avoiding paying higher rents , commission and agreement which has doubled also.

But I tell you that while this is happening, it brought a new opportunity on my hands. Since food 🥘 is where people has channeled their focus because of inflation , I decided during the year to take a course in “Confectionery And Events”. This is new line entirely that deals with pastries 🥮. And with my experience in hive here, I decided it’s a good opportunity for me to have “Confection Experience” by the side , since change is the only thing constant. With this move, I can help myself to perfection with several bakings, and who knows what will the future holds for this stepping stone.

So ,I will always be grateful to life and good health in every circumstance of the journey of life, for the breath my family, loved 🥰 ones and I have. Because its only those who has breath in them that can keep waking up to a new day and keep planning even when life seemed stagnant. I believe that as long as there is breath in a man (both man and women representation here), change can come anytime, hopefully for good 🙏.

We are already in the month of October and its ticking, counting down . Am very optimistic that 2026 will end for good because as long as we keep hope alive, we can never know how and where the turning point will come from because change is the only thing constant.
