I can hardly believe that we have had our puppy for 8 months already. It seems like she had just arrived a couple of months ago. She is growing up so fast yet, she still acts like a puppy all the time.
She stashed so many of her chewy bones in her bed that I caught her laying upside down out of it. Obviously, the bones needed a place to rest too, lol.
This bed was her Christmas present and it sits between my husband's and my chairs so that she is right next to us each night. She loves to hang out with us all the time and has to be as close as possible. Here she is playing with one of her newest squeaker toys in her bed.
Mika has become my gardening companion this spring and is watching the squirrels in the yard from the greenhouse door. It wasn't long before she chased them out of the yard. I have a feeling that this is going to be a busy summer for her as the squirrels are always here. She will get a lot of exercise chasing them for sure.
After a busy day in the yard cleaning out the gardens from the winter debris we headed inside to have a bone in mom's lap as a treat for being a good garden helper.
At day's end with dinner over Mika has a nightly ritual of playing with George the monkey. She only plays with him when she is tired and that is our clue that she is ready to settle down for the night. Here she is after putting the monkey in her bed, she fell fast asleep. After all, it was a very busy day for a puppy.
Until next time, this is Sunscape
