Our little girl loves her stuffed animal, Curious George. It is the only one of her toys that she has not tried to rip apart. She is notorious for removing the stuffing from stuffed animals, pillows, or even a few chair cushions.
We have found it puzzling that she has never tried to destroy George. On the other hand, maybe it is because she likes to sleep with it in her bed. Maybe it is a comfort to her to have it with her when she naps.
Sometimes she brings George to another part of the house to keep an eye on him.
Once or twice a year I have to give George a bath since he gets so much love from Mika.
Here she is snuggled up on the carpet with her buddy. Can you tell that she thinks of George as a little companion?
I put George on the sofa one day just to mess with Mika. She doesn't like it when you move him and she pulled him right off the sofa and put him back on the floor. I guess she told me!
Another naptime next to her friend. This is her second George and we already are on the lookout for a replacement, just in case. We wouldn't want her to be without her best friend, right?
