The Brugmansia is a tropical plant that can be overwintered in a large pot to be enjoyed year after year. This plant has been brought inside for over 10 years. It grows to about 7 foot tall and about 5 foot in circumference.
When the blossoms begin to form around mid-summer, you can't help but get excited at the upcoming fragrance that will begin to fill the air. Every evening when the blossoms begin to open is when the scent of the flowers is released. They actually stay open until mid-morning when they will close slightly during the day. They are by far one of my favorite flowers to enjoy in the garden. Heavenly!
