岩石圆顶是伊斯兰神寺，最初建于691年。它的八角形是伊斯兰设计不寻常的，显然受到圣墓教堂圆形大厅的影响。
“岩石”被认为是圣殿山原始的最高点。也是圣经时代犹太人圣殿的所在。

Dome of the Rock is the Islamic shrine, originally built in 691. Its octagon is unusual in Islamic design, apparently influenced by the rotunda of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
"Rock" is considered to be the peak exposed peak of the original peak of the Jewish temple hill in the biblical age.
Here, we can see the interaction between different faiths.
