Apple cake made by Mamo. Mamo harvested plenty of apples from the garden, some were already falling on the ground. Yesterday, she decided to make an apple cake with her simple recipe. It was soft and not so sweet. She loves to put extra sugar and extra sweetness whatever it is, but this time she didn't add much, it was just perfect.
This morning, we had some leftovers, I grabbed a piece for my breakfast and tea. We finished her apple cake today. It was a good combination with our afternoon coffee. My son enjoyed it as well.
What amazes me is the baking pan that she used. They call it "tepsiya". Can you guess, how old this is? Maybe it's more than 50 years lols. I remember my grandma having this kind of plates, they really last long. Matinding pandehado ito haha
