My step dad has always had leg problems, probably stemming from the fact he's just one of those people who has a hard time just sitting, he's always has to be doing something. He'll be 87 this year, and this last go around with high summer heat and his central air going out left him feeling defeated, at least that's the impression I got from him when I took him up some supplies a couple weeks ago. The yard wasn't done up in his usual flair and the neighbors took back the mower he had used for years, (there was a benefit to that, he mowed their lawn) and told him no more mowing. All of a sudden it was like he wanted to go one last time he said to visit an uncle, asked me if I wanted the picture of my sisters and I, I just felt like he was caving in and setting things into final order. I was on a website and in a video posted next was a doctor who specialized in legs, and it was the six most beneficial things you could do for your legs. Which I gave him and told him to try. One was eat beets or drink unsweetened beetroot juice, eat tart cherries or drink unsweetened tart cherry juice, consumer avocados, pumpkins seeds, eat salmon or sardines, and lentils. He guaranteed that if incorporated into the diet, after a four to six week period, people would notice a noticeable improvement from leg pain. I told him this, he wrote some of the stuff down and is going to try it, I'll have to remember to keep you posted on the outcome.
