🎉A Memory of a Hectic Children's Day, Filled with Smiles and Happiness🎁🫶🏻
Today I'd like to share a little diary entry from this year's Children's Day. My schedule as a housewife was packed with activities from morning till evening, but every minute was filled with joy.
Early this morning, the mission behind the success of my little princess began. My talented daughter was scheduled to perform in a stage play at the village's local administrative organization. As a mother, my most important duty was being her personal makeup artist and stylist. I carefully applied the makeup and arranged the elegant Thai dress for my daughter with pride. Once the makeover was complete, her father took over, driving her to the performance.
Late mornings are spent gardening and dealing with never-ending responsibilities. After dropping off the father and son, I return to my energetic housewife mode, starting with housework, taking care of my beloved mother-in-law and our intelligent pets. Once everything is in place, it's time to head to the garden and fulfill my duties as a farmer.
The atmosphere in the garden today was peaceful, a stark contrast to the bustling city. I walked around feeding the ducks and chickens, and scattering food for the fish waiting in the water. The most enjoyable activity, I think, was collecting the eggs, which felt like a little solo adventure in the garden. Before heading home to prepare breakfast for my mother and feed my feline friend, ensuring he has a full stomach like I do.
Afternoon Dream Fulfillment at the Shopping Mall
Right at noon, my little princess returned from her performance with a big smile. But her energy was boundless! She begged to join more Children's Day activities at the shopping mall in town, so we set off again.
The atmosphere at the mall was completely different from the local government office. The lights, sounds, and laughter of children filled the air. My daughter eagerly lined up for the activities. Seeing the sparkle in her eyes when she received her prize and got to do activities with her new friends made all the tiredness from a morning of housework disappear.
Before saying goodbye to this year's Children's Day, I stopped to buy some adorable cakes to take home as gifts and to add some sweetness to everyone in the family. Today, I may have played many roles: makeup artist, housewife, farmer, and doting mother. But one thing was clear: the happiness of my children and family is the greatest source of strength for a mother.
