I start my day on steemit today. I just have to get some frustration off my chest. Sunday I had a very stressful encounter with people close to me. Yesterday my productivity level was very low due to emotional stress. I just could not get into action. Today I want to start my actions with facing my problems in writing.
About two years ago I was severely overworked and I fell into a serious depression. One I feel I am still coping with. I Just went from being passive to be able to function again. Looking back I think I have been functioning while being depressed since I was 15. I never really got rid of it, only my coping skills grew.
Two years ago I suddenly could not function anymore. I had to let my life come to a hold. I had to push the pause button on getting my bachelors degree and this button is still pushed.
In the meanwhile I puzzled the rest of my life back together. I am already working in the field I was getting my degree for and I working on my fitness and health. I am actively living my life and I am very proud of it.
My job is very demanding of my time and energy, which I love. I really learn so much due to the challenging tasks I have to fulfill. But ... and this is a big but. ... I am only employed until December 2017 and it would be very beneficial for me if I finished my bachelors until then to find an even better job.
I just do not know how to manage to finish my bachelors while working and not having a car.
You see, I am physically handicapped. I wrote a little about my cerebral palsy here. I tried to use the bus, but it´s just not possible. My college is about 20 minutes from my home (by car). I could stay at my parents for a few days a week, they live about 2 Kilometers from the college. I would have to go there by bike in order to be mobile while I stay there. Going there by bike takes me two and a half hours right now.
Having my bike at my parent´s place would help me to get to my college but I would not have my wheelchair with me. This means I would have to go to the library with my walking sticks. Which is quite exhausting and takes me at least twice as much time (to get around in the library).
Having my wheelchair at my parents place would mean I would be more comfortable at the library but I would have to have someone to drive my there and everywhere I need to be for getting my things in order. The point is: all of it seems really overwhelming and when people, like last sunday, tell me to finally get my act together and finish my studies, I get lost for a moment and loose my grip. Thankfully I am not lost for long.
Like @sidwrites advised me on my last post I will Think less and do more.
So instead of thinking wheather I should write about my frustration on steemit I just did it. I gained some clarity from writing and maybe you even have some tipps for me. This would be awesome.
Thank you very much for reading. And thank you for 203 followers. :)
