"the Harpy's afternoon nap" (original sketch on a paper by graphite)

I drew this simple sketch by inventing it from scratch. I just ran a pencil over the paper until the outlines appeared. Then the drawing of the sleeping harpy appeared in my head and I just transferred it to paper.

This drawing combines all the themes that I adore - symbolism and feminine beauty. I have already written here many times why I admire the beauty of women. Their mystique by nature fascinates and motivates for feats and creations.
