I have decided to use a Bitcoin ATM to buy some Bitcoin and since this will be the first time I am doing some research into the ins and outs of the process.
First is finding a machine near me. I live about 80 miles form a big city so I am using https://coinatmradar.com/ to find the closest BTC-ATM. Finding an ATM on this sight is pretty straight forward, either type in your location and hit search or use the map.
If you type in your location you get a list like this, which is handy as it has info like ATM location, distance, fees and other info all on one page.
That one in the above list at Clackamas Town Center looks like it has low fees and a high rating, let's check that out.

Here are the current rates for the coins offered at that ATM
Here is a quick video of the process on the type of machine at the Clackamas Town Center
So I have the Mycelium wallet on my phone ready to go and I think I will head into town tomorrow and grab some BTC. I did pick a backup ATM just in case this one is not working for some reason.
Have a GREAT weekend!!!
