After last weeks #beersaturday shutout I decided to head over to Hood River and the Double Mountain Brewery, where I knew they'd be open and have some kickass brews.
Double Mountain opened in 2007 by a brewer that had worked around the corner at Full Sail Brewing for 10 years. Since that time this taproom has expanded twice! I remember when it opened it was just a one room bar, now there is a dining room and two bars.
Their signature beer is an IRA, India Red Ale, and it's as solid a beer as there ever was :D
It was even inducted into the Beer Hall of Fame

Anyhow, today I opted for the Killer Red, it's basically the IRA kicked up with some fresh hops and a higher ABV
I also brought a Lil' Chunky along for the ride. Note the copper bar-top ;)
That's a SGS double whammy right there.
