Check out these 🏴☠️ old coins 🏴☠️ from the 19th century ⛵
I'm in between jobs at the moment so I took some time today to walk downtown and visit the only shop in town that has old coins.
It's an antique shop called red wagon and in the case at the counter they have a few 1oz Bullion coins and a couple boxes of old, world coins to flip through.
I'm in the market for a Poseidon coin from Greece thanks to @trumpman's posts about these coins.
I didn't find what I was looking for however I did have a good conversation with the proprietor and picked up a couple super cool old coins.
I ended up with two different 2 reales coins, one minted in 1848 in Mexico and the other in 1868 in Guatemala.
You can bet I liberated these beauties from that bs plastic wrap as soon as I got home.
The Mexican one (cap and rays) has an edge that has been worn thin as a butter knife! Where has this coin been!?
These are super cool coins that make a great sound when tossed on the table and you can bet I'll be carrying these bad boys around in my pocket for a while.
