book of life
i wander the shores of my
ocean of thoughts
whimpering in the cold and dark
diving for cover
when the waves of emotion rise
when light
shining and shimmering
surges toward me
illuminating the path
of my life
i seek the sun
beaming
through the gap in the clouds
onto the pages
that thirst for my ink
the book of my essence
binds me
to reality
and begs me
to stuff it to capacity
with the adventures of my
eternal ego
