hallelujah
and let the church say
amen
from empty pew and pulpit
chained up doors
with lights out for the night
while
lost souls
circle the sanctuary
seeking salvation
flaunted
behind lock and key
as they
console themselves
on the steps of the kingdom
where entry has been
denied
