I think that the dust is still settling and I believe both chains could succeed (just with very different core values and governance).

I am powering down to gain some liquid Steem but I am not fully committed to cashing out completely. I have friends who have moved to Hive and I have friends who have stayed on Steem. Since I stayed because of the community, is it possible to engage both commuties? Guess only time will tell.
