Can't say I'd ever heard of a Brompton bicycle before now but you seemed to have accurately desribed it from what I can see.
Two months in Sedona ? I guess I need to go back through your posts and catch up on that.
Interesting terminology you used here, "beautiful rhythms of nature in the American Southwest for over two months grounded me " I've found that "grounding" is essential to good health, both physical and mental health.
I started getting severe headaches back in 2020 and a friend suggested "grounding" as a solution. I was skeptical at first when she told me about it but it made perfect sense and I'll be damned if it didn't work just like she said it would.
Whenever I would feel one of those headaches coming on I'd go outside barefooted and sit in the lawn chair with my feet on the ground and in 20 to 30 minutes I would feel a whole lot better. Upon further study of the sitution it has do to with resonance and frequency of the earth and our body and keeping the two in sync with each other.
Rubber soled shows have isolated our bodies from the earth connection (grounding) and between all of the different radio and microwave frequencues in our immediate environment our bodies absorb those and get our internal battery in a over charged capacity.
As you well know batteries can be over charged to the point that they can explode or burnout if not properly charged with a regulating battery charger so it makes sense that our internal batteries work the same way, Connecting to the bare earth with bare feet ; how much more simple can it be? It can't get any simpler than that in my opinion.
Take care and congrats on the new Brompton , safe travels on it.
