It was the 75th Independance Day Anniversary for India yesterday (15th August). India became independent from the British rule on this day 75 years ago. It is celebrated as a National holiday.
There was a small celebration in our society so I took Raag there. I was amazed to see the young talent of our nation has. 3-5 years old children were singing and dancing so well, hats off to them and their parents. And the kind of confidence they have to perform on the stage, bold and fearless, Wow! I was awstruck to see a 3 year old singing and dancing to Vande Matram. It was flawless and full of skill.
Then I dressed up Raag in a white Indian attire and made him wear a tri-colored badge and hand band.
I made Coconut ladoos as a sweet to celebrate this day.
Normally, we also fly kites but due to covid, we refrained ourselves in getting involved in any such activity.
Towards the evening, I got the dissapointing news about my house help which irritated me so much that I could not focus anywhere else but finding a new house help for myself.
The started off really well but the ending was super bad.
