What's with the, you can celebrate whenever you want! That's what people say. Honestly, that's true, Valentines is just a marketing gimmick. It's a way to encash upon people's love, LOL.
While I was waiting for my cab today, I got a chance to peep into the restaurant just opposite my office, it was decked up with red roses and heart-shaped balloons. As much tempted I was to go in and dine, I well understand this is a trap. But nothing against those who like to celebrate, it's a day to celebrate love and one must do it.
I also celebrated it, but my way.
So here is my story of Valentine 2022!
No fancy restaurant, but I thought of surprising my husband with food from a new burger chain that recently opened in Noida, Louis Burger.
Louis Burger is a Mumbai-based burger chain well known for its Korean chicken burgers. Its burgers are priced at almost 3 times compared to any other burger chain in India. It deliveres via Zomato only as of now and that's how I ordered. When I ordered, it showed 54 minutes to arrive which was ok for me. But it still showed 54 minutes after 54 minutes had passed and that was definately not ok for me.
After 30 minutes of chatting with the zomato agent, I got my order cancelled with a full refund. I gave an "Awful" rating as feedback for the executive who assisted (so to say) me on the chat window. She literally had no answers and took a lot of time to resolve my issue.
So what did we eat then? At 10 in the night, I went to the kitchen, after a tiring day at work, and made Paranthas, LOL!
My husband and myself had paranthas in the kitchen with pickle.
And then, the bell rang! I was like, if it is the zomato guy, just throw him from the 23rd floor, haha.
But it was ice cream ordered by my husband to change me spoiled mood.
My valentine was full of office work, travel, and quarrels with zomato guys.
