Hello all cat lovers! As some of you may already know, I have the important and honorable task of documenting the experiences of my cat nephew Ying, who is usually treated like a king in the apartment where I live with my brothers. That means, letting him sleep where he wants and climb where he pleases, as long as it does not threaten his safety or that of any object (he already broke a vase while playing 😆).

And speaking precisely of that, this week, one of my computers did not want to turn on (the oldest), which surprised me a lot, given that it turned on very well a week before. After analyzing what had possibly happened, I met Ying and everything made sense. It turns out that in order to access one of his resting places, Ying sometimes tends to step over the table and since the computer was there, he did not hesitate to step over it. I saw him do it a couple of times and I didn't give it any importance because the lid was closed... but apparently, the weight was enough to affect his screen (which was already failing).

Obviously, Ying wasn't to blame, it was my carelessness for leaving her in that place at the end of my day. But I was surprised that a cat can weigh so much haha, I was even going to take it to my boyfriend so he could check it when I went to visit him next week, but... Surprise! Today the computer turned on naturally. I don't know what happened, but I'm glad to have it on. I have learned my lesson 😌 Thanks to this experience, I will try not to leave anything fragile on the table again and keep an eye on Ying's movements in case she gets on it, because obviously, that cute little face cannot be denied access to the table 😍

¡Hola a todos los amantes de los gatos! Como ya sabrán algunos, tengo la importante y honorífica labor de documentar las vivencias de mi sobrino gatuno Ying, a quien suele tratarse como todo un rey en el apartamento en donde vivo con mis hermanos. Eso significa, dejarle dormir en donde desee y subirse en donde le plazca, siempre y cuando, no atente contra su seguridad o el de algún objeto (ya quebró un jarrón mientras jugaba 😆).

Y hablando precisamente de eso, ésta semana, una de mis computadoras no quería encender (la más antigua), lo cual me extrañó bastante, dado que encendía muy bien una semana antes. Luego de analizar lo que posiblemente había pasado, me hallé con Ying y todo tuvo sentido. Resulta que para poder acceder a uno de sus lugares de descanso, en ocasiones Ying suele pasar por encima de la mesa y como, allí se hallaba la computadora, él no dudaba en pasarle por encima. Lo vi un par de veces hacerlo y no le di importancia porque la tapa estaba cerrada... pero por lo visto, el peso de fue suficiente para afectar su pantalla (la cual, ya estaba presentando una falla).

Obviamente, Ying no tenía la culpa, era descuido mío por dejarla en ese lugar al terminar mi jornada. Pero si me sorprendió que un gato pueda pesar tanto jaja incluso, hasta iba a llevársela a mi novio para que la revisara cuando fuera a visitarlo la semana que viene, pero... ¡Sorpresa! ¡Hoy la computadora encendió con naturalidad. No sé que habrá sucedido, pero me alegro de tenerla encendida. He aprendido mi lección 😌 Gracias a ésta experiencia procuraré no dejar de nuevo nada frágil sobre la mesa y vigilar los movimientos de Ying por si acaso se llega a subir, porque obviamente, no se le puede negar el acceso a la mesa a esa carita tan linda 😍
