Stranger Things is an American Netflix sci-fi drama series, Created by The Duffer Brothers. Starring; Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Noah Schnapps as Will Byers, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin, and Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas. These are the main cast.
The Setting
One of the my favorite part about this movie is the setting. The setting was like a time warp back to the eighties. The show took place in the fictional town called Hawkins, Indiana in the mid 1980s. The first season set was in November 1983, followed by various groups of characters as they separately investigate the disappearance of a little boy named Will Byers in the town. The second and third seasons expand the narrative scope, while the search for the course of Will鈥檚 disappearance became more complex. In the fourth season, the major the movie storylines took place outside of Hawkins.
The creators did a unique work. The sci-fi character sets were perfect for each cast. An exciting plot, coupled with fascinating tube of music.
The Plot
The 8 episodes of the First season flew by unnoticed as I stayed glued to my screen, with the great discovery of the under-world through the search of the little boy, Will Byers as they search for answers. Each episode are drawn into a new chapter of unpredictable extraordinary mystery of the top-secrets government experiments, demanding the demonstration of supernatural powers of a little girl. The ending of the fourth season left me with lots of questions.
For me, this movie was appealing to watch, a little bit of horror and romance but more of suspense. There was also a place for tears, yeah... few drops of tears 馃槀 (Kids can make me so emotional) which it was sometimes impossible to restrain. I must warn you, this film is really addictive, I watched the whole first season in just a couple days because I was busy that period but trust me, you immediately get hooked on the show once you finish the first season because there is enough suspense to keep you interesting all the time. And also this movie is ranking top 10 on Netflix which will also be having a last season which is going to be 5 but not out yet. I wouldn鈥檛 want to give you so much details about the movie so I won鈥檛 be a spoiler and I bet you won鈥檛 regret watching it.
While I was still watching this series, I bumped into this polo shirt last weekend in the market coincidentally, strange right? and guess what, I bought it馃槀.
