Here's my battle for this week.

My lineup included
The Summoner: General Sloan
General Sloan gives +1 ranged attack to all my monsters.
The tank: Chaos Knight
The shield ability on Chaos Knight makes this monster an excellent tank choice. Chaos knight was able to hold off Unicorn Mustang, a more expensive monster while my back line handled my opponent's backline.
1st position (backup tank): Time Mage
Time Mage slows down my opponent's creatures enough for my ranged attack monsters to put in work.
2nd position: Truthspeaker
Truthspeaker has the protect ability which was critical for giving my my backline a chance to survive in the Target Practice ruleset.
3rd position: Pelacor Arbalest
Pelacor Arbalest pairs so well with General Sloan who boosts the double strike ranged attack for a total of 6 damage each turn.
Did my strategy work?
Yes, I got the W. My backline was able to dish out 7 damage per turn and managed to take some big hits in the process. Chaos Knight went up against a bigger, more expensive monster in the front which was backed up by tank heal. Chaos knight took 3 hits from Unicorn Mustang and took thorns 3 times before going down.
What will I try differently next time?
I think that in the future I'll use Chaos Knight more often. The shield ability is so strong when I expect to face anything but magic.
Do I like Chaos Knight?
Yes, and I like Chaos Knight even more after this challenge.
