Hello Splinterfamily,
I'd like to share my experience with the Up Close and Personal ruleset match and the team I used. I hope to provide valuable insights to fellow players through this discussion. Here are the key points I want to cover:
The match took place on the IGN @subashtechy which is my account.
The format of the match is Ranked-Modern-Gold league.
Only units with melee attacks can be used.
Use Thorns and Demoralize to counter melee attacks.
Units with 2 types of attacks (including melee) can be used.

Focus on melee monsters:
In the Up Close and Personal ruleset, only melee monsters can be used in battle. This means that you should focus on selecting monsters with strong melee attacks, high health, and abilities like opportunity, reach and sneak that synergize well in close-quarters combat.
Prioritize tanking and defense:
Since melee monsters will be the primary force in battle, it's crucial to protect your front-line monsters from enemy attacks. Utilize monsters with high health, armor, or abilities like Shield and Retaliate to absorb damage and defend your backline.
Consider reach and opportunity abilities:
Monsters with Reach can attack from the second position, while those with Opportunity can attack from any position if their enemy is in the first position. These abilities can provide a significant advantage in close-quarters combat.
Utilize thorns and demoralize effectively:
Thorns can reflect damage back to the attacker, while Demoralize reduces the melee attack of all enemy monsters. These abilities can be particularly effective in countering enemy melee strategies.
Choose summoners that complement your team:
Summoners can provide valuable buffs to your melee monsters, such as increasing their attack, defense, or health. Choose a summoner that aligns with your team composition and enhances your melee strategy.
Position your monsters strategically:
The order in which you place your melee monsters can influence the flow of battle. Consider placing faster monsters in the front to initiate attacks and slower, tankier monsters behind them to absorb damage and protect your backline.
