I'd love to make this comparison, according to what I've learnt about BTC and cryptos in a year. I might be wrong in some points, so please feel free to share your opinion.

1. Value

“The USD, and indeed all fiat currencies, does a horrible job, with the USD having lost the better part of 95% of its purchasing power in the last 100 years, according to data from the St Louis Federal Reserve.”

Jordan Eliseo

The value of Bitcoin is largely questionable as it's not the thing that everyone can easily buy and sell and simply doesn't exist long enough to speak about it's value =)

No doubts, BTC is a valuable precious thingy for those who have it, but does it give bitcoin any reasonable, real value? The answer is "NO", at least, today.

2. Economical model

The dollar is inflationary. This means that the dollar loses value as time goes on because more are added to circulation.

Bitcoin has a decreasing inflation schedule meaning that there are less added to circulation as time goes on. This implies that 1 BTC will be more valuable in the future. The argument against any deflationary currency is it promotes saving instead of spending, which could hinder economic growth.

Do not forget the constantly increasing difficulty, implemented in BTC that leads to stimulation of the manufacturers of the mining equipment. On the other hand, increasing difficulty makes Bitcoin increase it's value "hashwise" if I can say it this way =)

3. Acceptance

Only idiot will argue with me if I say that USD is accepted worldwide. ATMs in Cambodia give you US dollars, I paid for the bus in Peru, Malaysia, Vietnam and Spain with USD.

Can I do the same with BTC? =) I cannot even buy "whatever thing I want" with it in any internet shop.

4. Backed up?

I've heard multiple times that "Bitcoin is a bubble", a pyramid, a ponzi scheme but after long research, I cannot find literally no signs of that in BTC. To say even more, I started to question USD and other fiat currencies, how strong they are? How are they backed up?

Bitcoin is backed up by the mining equipment, mass media hysteria around it and electric power for miners (my personal opinion, obviously)

But what about USD? Is it backed up, as they say, by economies of the countries? Let's go back in history a bit. People were exchanging goods on goods, then they realized it's more convenient to use something that reflects some certain constant value. It was gold at first. Then, as there's not enough gold for everyone to carry with them and because you cannot carry really huge sum of money in it (simply, too heavy), people switched to some stupid pieces of parers - some kind of a guarantee that it can be exchanged to some amount of gold. Everything seems fine and logical till this point. BUT later on, those pieces of paper became precious as if they had some real value. Governments started to print those papers "at their will" and the only thing that really backs up any fiat currency, including USD is... nothing but pure trust that they have some value. By the way, it's one of the reasons why their acceptance is so high =)

BTC has a looong way to go to become the real value to the world, but there's one great thing about it - it can be forked.

I double dare you to fork USD =)

Fork - the real Bitcoin superpower
