This will just be a quick update on something I've recently started working on. December has become quite the busy month for me, and unfortunately that ate into a lot of the time I set aside to work on projects.
All good though! 2019 is going to be fucking crazy. Crazy good? Crazy bad? why bother guessing
Ok, so, Cryptid Curio? The fuck is that?
can you make that any more of a mouth full?
Basically, think about the creature-caring aspects of tamagotchi, mix it with the collect & battle aspects of pokemon, and top it off with some good old fashioned mythology.
Trying my best to make this stand out from the rest of the "crypto-collectibles" out there currently on the market.
Speaking of which, check out the early mockups and find out a bit more info in this fancy-dancy graphic I made!
HOWEVER, relax. Seriously. I find Steem & Tron to both be very innovative technologies with bright futures. I'm not going to put all my eggs in one basket here.
Currently, the game is being developed with Tron in the forefront. However, once I get a stable game beta out into the public, the act of adding Steem functionality is not far off the idea's list.
The reason I'm building with Tron first is because of the Tron Accelerator Program that is currently going on. Getting some funding right now is very important. Although, sadly, like I mentioned at the beginning of this post, December has not been kind to me so far on the whole "time" thing, and I may not be able to submit anything in time for the deadline.
Anyways, funding. That's always the big issue, eh? I'm currently looking at a number of ways to fund this game, Steem included. One of the hang-ups is I refuse to do any sort of ICO / initial crowd-funding without having something to show for it first [ pesky morals ]. Meaning, I need to release a beta, or even an alpha / proof-of-concept, before asking for money. Of course, money would allow the beta to come out quicker... Real chicken and the egg problem here [ or big foot and the... big foot egg? I don't know, something like that I think... ].
Ok, pretty long post for a "quick update", huh? I'll end it here. To recap:
