Tick-Tock
The silent hands of the speaking clock,
Who as they turn to tell the hours,
Suggest the future is calling.

Tick-Tock
A reminder your time is here.
Not wanting to bore you,
But it's here, and going.

Tock-Tick
Did you hear that?
We lost a Tick.
That's some kind of time slip.

Tick-Tock
Now we lost a Tock.
Yet the clock doesn't stop
Time is non-negotiable stock.
