RE: Layer Cake is one of those crime movies that doesnāt need to constantly remind you how cool it is. Released in 2004 and directed by Matthew Vaughn, the movie is smart, violent, funny and incredibly stylish.
This is one of my favourite films and a rare example of the film being better than the book - although it probably helps that JJ Connelly wrote the book and the screenplay. It's a film with loads of quotable
