Over the years I have realised that having nothing makes you appreciate the little things in life more it also helps you Love and appreciate everything that you do have.
One thing I am sure we have all experienced when giving to someone who's less fortunate than we may be whether it's someone who's homeless or just someone that may struggle a bit financially is Gratitude by the bucket load, right? And it could only be 20pence you have given them or maybe less but they're still totally grateful. I have seen people walking away from homeless saying "wow he was grateful wasn't he I only gave him 50p" the reason for this is because he/she has nothing so what they do have or maybe given they appreciate more than someone who has everything.

I keep seeing young children throwing all their lose change (2p 1p) and it really does my head in I tell them you should respect your money more some people have nothing and you're throwing it away like it's nothing learn to respect your money kids or you will end up having none.

Another place you learn to appreciate everything in life is in Prison everything is taken away from you in Prison so you learn to appreciate the little things like a can of cola or Sugar for your coffee or coffee lol. Also your loved ones this is a major thing behind bars as sometimes in life we take for granted our loved ones we have to realise how lucky we're to have people that love and care for us some people don't at the need of the day it's a sad but true fact. It's also sad that for some people it takes an event like going to prison to realise these things but we're only human we don't do it intentionally (well not all of us do)

Some of you may be aware that I am currently setting up a Charity where I go out and help the Homeless around my area by buying them clothes and food e.t.c well listen to what happened yesterday. I gave a homeless man some food and a pound so he could get a drink of water as he wasn't feeling too good he said "next time your down at the train station come and see me I have something I would like to give to your children" all the homeless people live in some old arches by the train station. So I walked down just out of curiosity with my kids and he was there and came over to me with a big bag full of change 2p and 1p's (Money for anyone in a different country) I said no I can't take that but he was adamant I was taking it as it wasn't for me it was for my kids so I obliged. There is about £5 in change but my point is this man has nothing literally the tent he sleeps in and the clothes he walks around in and he gave my children money he couldn't afford to give them. His words were "that means nothing to me but knowing it could give your kids a little bit of happiness means a lot more" what an absolute beautiful gesture I posted it on my Facebook and told all my friends to look after him if they walk past for his kind gesture will come back tenfold even if he didn't do it for that reason.
Conclusion: appreciate the smaller things in life that you have and your loved ones because God forbid you never know when they may be taken away.
Stay safe everyone and keep your loved ones close by and safe also.
