Mine Your Own Business

In the latest bashing of Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining comes news that the FCC has recently sent a cease and desist notice to a man in Brooklyn, New York. In the letter to Victor Rosario, he is being instructed to cease operation of his Bitcoin Miner, in particular an Antminer S5 made by Chinese manufacturer Bitmain. The letter further stated that failure to comply could result in fines and confiscation of his device or devices.

According to the letter, the FCC investigators received complaints from T-Mobile, Inc that their cellular network, in particular the 700 Mhz LTE, was receiving interference causing cellular phone users problems. FCC investigators then located the area and eventually even the exact devices that were causing this interference, thus prompting the cease and desist letter.

I wonder what they will come up with next; Crypto-currency causes Cancer?
