Good morning! It's been a few days since my last drawing. I just suddenly felt lazy. I took a lot of sleep then spent a lot of time drawing short comics and then I'm sleepy again. Lol.
My comic art today is inspired by the Fortune Cookie Day which was celebrated last September 13.
Have you tried cracking a fortune cookie? In my case, I still haven't, not even saw one with my bare eyes. Fortune cookies are probably popular on Western countries and East Asian countries like China. It is believed that fortune cookies began in Japan.
Fortune cookie is a cookie (of course) made from flour, vanilla, sugar, cornstarch, sugar, butter, salt, and egg white. It's thin and shaped into a half circle then pressed at the middle so it creates a slope and two pointy edges on each side which gives a better grip when cracking the cookie. I'm not sure if that's the exact reason why fortune cookies are shaped that way. Lol. Maybe it's the best design to easily break it.

Anyway, while it's fun cracking a fortune cookie, the main purpose of a fortune cookie is the paper inside it. The cookie is called a fortune cookie because there's a paper in it which "predicts" your future or destiny. Well, it's up to a person whether to believe that a fortune cookie can dictate or maybe guide your future. Whatever your belief is, I think cracking and reading messages from a fortune cookie is fun.

I guess the story of this comics is clear. They are supposed to crack their fortune cookies at the same time but two of them smashed theirs on the head of the guy in between them. These people I drew are from the band ONE OK ROCK. Check their music if you still haven't heard them. Spotify | Youtube
The guy that was bullied on my comic was Tomoya, the band's drummer. He is often the one being bullied by the other members in real life and so it is easy for me who would play the role of being bullied. I believe this scenario I drew is not far from happening if you give them fortune cookies. Lol.
Here's my sketch for the comics. The 4th drawing was originally the last but I interchanged it with the 5th drawing because... changes are inevitable. duh? Just kidding! 😂 I thought it would be funnier if I put Tomoya with bumps on the last.
