Back and far now, when I was still in secondary school, there was this man in my village who always loved arguing and saying words that seemed real to the hearing of people. He's the best when it comes to the search for fun and laughter.
Anytime he's about to say a word, he does start with the statement: “this era is not the era when we always dig the ground hunting for the money that our great grandfathers had hidden when they were still alive”. When he starts that, everyone would listen critically to his words as he was so serious saying those words thinking all were just true.
Our community always has their annual meeting every 26th December which every son's and daughter of the land far and near had to come to attend the meeting. It's a meeting that deals with many deliberations of the issues pertaining to the community at large.

The day finally arrived and everyone was on ground to attend the meeting. We all gathered as usual, ranging from those of the age of 15 and above. They started with prayers, after which the meeting started. They discussed things that are bothering the community at large.
This man raised his hands from behind. Everyone were giving him kudos for the best man who can speak the truth no matter the situation. He has been known as someone who is so funny and fun to be with, except for some words which he did speak out which seem outdated.
He was provided the opportunity to speak to the public. He started with advice as he said “I still remember when we always dig out money from the ground. The money that our forefathers had buried for so, so long now”. Everyone began to hail him; “yes, speak up”. He started talking after giving the first word. When he was done talking, everyone capped for him as usual. Most of the words he said were wise, but I'm the eyes of some members were outdated words.
Someone among those who travelled a long way to the village just because of the meeting replied from behind “The money you dug out from the ground, what did you use this money to do?” Everyone kept quiet as they truly pondered deeply on those words. He has been putting all seriously just like someone who truly dig out money from the ground and everyone, both young and old had believed home so much.
He could not answer the question. Another lady stood up and asked him “how come you are still like this after digging this money from the ground back in the days? How come you are not rich?” Everyone present began to render his old fake words useless.
“Anyway, that's a load of balderdash. We don't have to allow our kids to listen to these words in other not to carry some fake words to their various schools”, the chairman of the community said.
This man left the meeting in shame.
