Here's the mail, it never fails! It makes me want to wag my tail! When it comes I want to wail... Mail!!! Yes, I just sang a song from Blues Clues. No, I will not apologize for it. Also, I have completely

Wings cutting through the cloudy wisps. Slicing apart the veins of this airy world. My beauties sing, firing sparks across the void. A frission, petals expand. Engine kill. Another one bites the dust.

Many people would think that the hardest part of being in Australia is the daily struggle to stay alive and unbitten by spiders. But really, the hardest part is going without a southern comfort meal. Sure,

Most of my life I have only been able to write When I am sad When the world is most empty and without a warm corner I would light fires with analogy Beating drums of stanzas to keep the beasts in the shadows

Into the mirror darkly, stepping once again. Through myself and back again, will the dance ever end? Music soothes the jagged rent where I used to lie. Filling the void in the sheets, vibrations so unique.

Within the red shift sits the signal. A spiral sounds a clarion call. Hertz bellowing across the void. Binary systems in flux. Magnetic. Astronomical distances aside, we stride across the cosmos. Ensconced

I just realized that it is Needlework Monday! Just recently I dug out and dusted off some of my knitting needles. And I do mean quite literally. They were in pretty bad shape! They are still a couple steps

Well, hello there, strangers! Thought it might be time to dust off my blog a little. It has been quite some time since I posted. About two months? Sorry for abandoning everyone. I've been about here and

Every year the pictures roll out. Captioned with "Do you remember where you were on 9/11?" and "never forget". It's always people talking about how they were at work when it happened

Once again, that dreaded time has rolled around. I am one step closer to the grave. One more year of my very mortal existence has expired. I'm getting old. But I'm totally still hip... right? Do the kids

It's a day of reflections. My den of stuff. For a lot of my life, I have held on to things that I thought, in some way, defined me as a person. My weird little odds and ends. Knickknacks. Quirky posters

While cleaning I came across an old journal this afternoon! Oh, it is fraught with angst and melodrama. Also, plenty of cringe. But tucked into the pages I also found some of my poetry! Here is the only

Dipping Drowning Sputtering on uncertainties A world full of decisions Are they really mine to make? How much have I destroyed by merely touching? or daring to glance? by simply hoping? Hoping is the crusher

Not sure how long I've been here. The tingles have turned to sharp needles. Creaking of leather so loud in this silent room. Except for that breathing. Once I tried to struggle. But it was futile. The

Hours and days slip away When I find myself wrapped in the silken purrs Of your slumber. In times that you roll to place your hand Delicately on my side Pulling me closer, almost maddened that I'm so far
