Don't always compromise

We released this a few years ago on an indie label in Madrid, https://respectrecords.es/. In retrospect we should have released it ourselves, but at that time we didn't have the resources to promote the song. Rather than work ourselves into a position where we could do this, we compromised and expected someone else to do it. They did not, and so we gave away a song and got nothing in return. A poor compromise.
The song heavily features the Arturia Minibrute (https://www.arturia.com/products/hardware-synths/minibrute), which is a frustrating little beast (brute?) of a synth. It can sound great and is a pleasure to program, but the tuning is extremely unstable and the keys have a tendency to stop working, which is bit of a problem for a keyboard! I think there were some compromises in the manufacturing process to try and keep the cost down.
The music was done by me (@stickupmusic), with vocals from @stickupboys. The video was made by @stickupboys on his phone, in his garden, and features one of the Boys' boys. No compromises were made. Sometimes it pays to be Immovable.
