leftism 101
- Come up with bad idea
- Get told by everyone it's a bad idea
- Get control of who can and can't speak
- Lock out everyone who thinks it's a bad idea
- Get complete agreement it's a good idea from whoever is left to speak in your system
- Implement idea
- Fail massively, because IT WAS A BAD IDEA
- Blame the people whose voices you silenced for sabotaging your awesome idea
- Persecute the folks who warned you it was a bad idea
- Fail even harder 'cause you just got rid of anyone who knew what they were doing
- Repeat steps 8-10 until either total collapse or get Ceaucescu'd
